Research Projects
In 2007, the LSF Research monitored and/or worked in partnership with several financial and academic institutions. Three projects, currently in process, are financed by the Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR):
• “Banks, Financial Markets, and Legislations” (LSF Research, LDE)
• “The Impact of Real and Financial Integration on Asset Price Co-Movement with Application to Luxembourg” (LSF Research, CREA)
• “Performance of Financial Services in Luxembourg” (LSF Research, Banque Centrale du Luxembourg, Statec).
The LSF Research is also involved in projects dealing with the risk, ratings, and performance of funds (LSF Research, Ministère de la Culture, de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche).
In September 2007, LSF Research finished a joint-project monitored by the University Robert Schuman, Strasbourg (supervisor:LARGE): “Recovery Rates and Credit Default in Europe”. It was financed by the OSEO-CDC IXIS Bank.
Since 2006, the results of LSF Research’s academic studies are disseminated through a series of working papers. Additionally, our researchers regularly publish in international academic journals.
